Why Hairstyling? For me, hairstyling is more than just a career — it’s about connection, confidence and to deliver services that make people feel seen, loved and empowered. My dream is to be more than just a hairstylist; I want to be a source of light and encouragement in my clients lives.

Your favourite thing to do as a stylist: Since I’m still in hair school, I am just starting to figure out what my favourite services to do are!

What’s made you the stylist you are today: I took high school cosmetology from grades 9-12, it was a class I always enjoyed and looked forward to! When I explored a Co-op position here at Grotto it helped to give me an experience of what the salon environment was like. Later on, I decided that hairstyling was the career I felt driven too. Now that I’m in hair school, my experience in high school Cosmo and at Grotto has helped me to be successful while working towards being a hairdresser!

The ideal clientele: Since I’m still in hair school, I am still figuring out what my ideal clientele would be!
